This Privacy Policy explains how the iOS app DevOps Scenario Prep ("the app") handles information.
The app works without an account and without any server connection. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information. Your study history, Lab progress, bookmarks, and mock exam results are stored only on your device and are never transmitted to any external server.
If you choose to use the contact form, the text you enter is sent to Google Forms. The app does not prefill or send any data on its own; report text is prepared for you to copy and paste into the form. Do not include personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number. We cannot provide individual replies.
Study Mode is an optional feature that blocks the apps you choose for the period you set. It uses Apple's Screen Time framework (Family Controls). To use it, you need to allow access to Screen Time on the iOS permission screen.
You choose the apps, categories, and websites to block on the iOS selection screen. Apple passes your choices to the app only in an opaque form. The app does not read your app usage time or browsing history.
Your choices, the Study Mode length, its end time, and related Study Mode status are stored only on your device and are never sent to any external server. When you go back to the app from the block screen, the app may show a notification on your device.
Notifications: If you turn on "Daily practice notification" in the app's Settings, the app sends one practice reminder a day. It is off until you turn it on. Study Mode may also show a notification that brings you back to the app. These notifications are created on your device by iOS; we do not use a push notification server, and no information about you or your study is sent off your device for them. You can turn them off at any time in the app's Settings or in iOS Settings > Notifications.
On-device study data is used only to show your own Lab progress, readiness indicators, and review recommendations inside the app.
The app does not share your study data with any third party. There is nothing to share — it never leaves your device.
The contact form is provided through Google Forms, where submitted content is processed and stored.
The app contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no tracking of any kind.
The one-time lifetime unlock is processed entirely through Apple's StoreKit. Payment details are handled by Apple; the app never receives or stores your payment information.
